A new build in 2012 with water views on the slopes of Khandallah afforded these clients a clean slate to work with. With the love of colour but not wanting to detract from the sea views the brief was timeless simplicity incorporating some existing furnishings with some key new pieces from which they could add to over time

Wallpaper was used extensively in each of the rooms downstairs and the living areas upstairs were void of this letting the view take the lead
Resene ‘black white’ was used on all walls not wallpapered thoughout the house. This colour complemented each of the wallpaper designs as well as the solid American Oak flooring and dark grey wool carpets
Six years on and this scheme has stood the test of time keeping the clients smiling every time they enter the house
